Ice Sculpting
You can take an ice sculpting lesson on the grounds of the Ice Hotel. Each person is given a block of ice, shown how to use their tools, and then it’s an hour of becoming one of the artists and creating your own piece of art. The chiseling is not as difficult as it would seem as the ice is much softer than expected, but getting the ice to shape into the vision that is in your head is not easy! It is a fun activity that really makes you appreciate all the work that artists put into their creations.

The Tips
Special sculpting gloves are provided, however you should also bring your own.
Ice sculpting is hard work so don’t dress too warm for this one. The Ice Hotel’s winter gear is not needed for this activity.
