Emirates Palace

 

The Emirates Palace is a 5-star hotel located in Abu Dhabi with beautiful Arabian interiors, a private beach and Marina, and as much gold throughout the entire decor as you would expect it to have. Total construction costs of the hotel exceeded $3 billion dollars when it was first opened in 2005, making it the third most expensive hotel in the world.

The Tips

 

  • Room rates can be surprisingly reasonable. Unless your staying here, the only other reason to visit is to wander around and admire the opulence and detail of the resort.

 

  • Have a drink in the lobby bar. This is an interesting spot for people watching since this hotel attracts some very prestigious clientele.
