The Emirates Palace is a 5-star hotel located in Abu Dhabi with beautiful Arabian interiors, a private beach and Marina, and as much gold throughout the entire decor as you would expect it to have. Total construction costs of the hotel exceeded $3 billion dollars when it was first opened in 2005, making it the third most expensive hotel in the world.

The Tips
Room rates can be surprisingly reasonable. Unless your staying here, the only other reason to visit is to wander around and admire the opulence and detail of the resort.
Have a drink in the lobby bar. This is an interesting spot for people watching since this hotel attracts some very prestigious clientele.
