Atlantis, The Palm
Atlantis resorts are always grandiose and super nice as they are equipped with all the right amenities. On the grounds are a multitude of dining options from casual to expensive, a water park, an aquarium, and a lagoon where you can snorkel, scuba (no certification needed), or Aquatrek. Aquatrek is a unique scuba-like experience without all of the bulky equipment.

The Tips
The beach is more for looks than function. The water is shallow without any waves and the sand isn’t very fine. It’s OK for sunbathing, or if you’d like to rent a cabana, but you need to be a guest at the hotel to use these amenities.
If you’re not a guest of the resort the only way to see the grounds is to make a reservation at one of the restaurants for lunch or dinner. You can do this in advance or at the concierge desk in the lobby.
