Helicopter Tour
Air Zermatt offers a helicopter tour that takes you through the Swiss Alps to view all of the sights that you can ski through and all of those you can’t. It even takes you as close to the Matterhorn as you can get without actually climbing it…and then up and over the top of it. The Air Zermatt team are highly skilled in performing some of the most dangerous mountain rescues so you are in good hands while on the tour. There were three major highlights with this adventure. First, the flight takes off backwards and then flies through the valley to head toward the Matterhorn. Second, the helicopter gets super close to the mountains. And third, you are taken up and over the Matterhorn, not just around it.

The Tips
Pictures are not the easiest to take so just try to take in the experience and keep the picture taking to a minimum.
They take 5 tourists in each flight. Try to sit in the front seat for the best views. Next best is on either side in the back seat.
