Kayaking to Pinel Island

 

Kayak from Cul de Sac, Saint Martin to Pinel Island, and spend the day exploring. Here’s the itinerary: Kayak 10 Minutes to the Sand Bar where you can walk around and look for stingrays, conch or pelicans. Then paddle to Little Key, a small rocky island where you can head out to snorkel along the reef. Kayak a little further to the main beach of Pinel Island, and possibly pass a few sea turtles along the way. Leave your kayak and enjoy the beach. There is a restaurant surrounded by palm trees, and beach chairs and umbrellas for visitors. You can also go hiking or venture out further to the North Beach for more snorkeling after a another short kayaking trip. This excursion is a day full of beach activities and island adventure.

The Tips

 

  • You have the option to rent a Tandem or Solo Kayak.

 

  • They will provide you with a dry bag to protect your belongings.

 

  • Make sure to bring sunscreen and plenty of water.
