Snuba Diving
Located at the northern tip of the Royal Navy Dockyards, this is an adventure that allows you to experience scuba diving without all of the training that is normally required. You are given a 15-minute overview and orientation, and then brought out into the ocean to show you how to breath using the snuba equipment. They provide you with a scuba mask that is attached to an air hose that’s connected to a raft that floats above you as you swim as far as 20 feet down. You can see coral reefs, exotic fish and a small shipwreck. It’s easy, and the closest thing to scuba diving that you will get without actually doing it.
The Tips
If the ocean gets choppy due to weather, the water can get quite murky which makes it difficult to see everything.
They will tell you that sharks do not occupy the Bermuda waters-choose to believe or feel the fear during the excursion.
